House Concerts at Betty's Place and House Concerts on the Hill (also known as the Elk Mountain House Concert Series) have combined to bring you the BK House Concerts and the best performing artists traveling the U.S., all right here in Asheville, NC.
House Concerts are not exactly a household word, but to people who love music and performers who love a listening audience, they are becoming a must. No parking fee, no long lines, no looking through binoculars . . . just right there, up close and personal, enjoying some of the best musicians who travel the country or are right in your own back yard.
Simply put, a house concert is a concert hosted in someone's private home. Musicians who perform for the BK House Concert series receive 100% of the proceeds. Suggested donation is usually $15, and guests are asked to bring a dish to share for the potluck before the music. It's easy to get on the mailing list (we do not sell, nor lend our email list to anyone, for any reason. We just send you information about our specific house concerts.)
To ensure you have a seat for a particular house concert, we recommend you contact either Kelle at kelle.olwyler@gmail.com, or Betty at bfriedrichsen2650@charter.net to reserve your seat(s).
This is a smaller venue than we had at house concerts on the Hill, and standing room is not often an option, so get your reservations in quickly!
